Cafe des Fleurs
This painting embodies the warmth and old world charm of a 19th century French Cafe. Imagine the history known to this wonderful cafe' as its patrons exchange conversation over their favorite plates. Flowers in full bloom welcome all who visit. I'd imagined such a place where I could some day visit too. Share in the same experience, at a table that rests outside Cafe' Des Fleurs worn door.

Dublin Door Red
The tale is this...Oliver St. John Gogarty, lived next to fellow writer George Moore, in Dublin's Ely Place. Often after enjoying conversation and spirits, the men would become disoriented and find themselves at the other's door, which looked the same. All the row houses had white doors. To stop the confusion, Gogarty painted his door red after his friend Moore painted his door green. Hence, starting a tradition that has become the famous brightly colored "Dublin Doors".
